Nina Klimko is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who began her professional practice providing residential support services and advocacy for adults with intellectual disabilities. She later had further experience as a school social work intern across elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school settings. She has provided Intensive In-Community (IIC) services to children and their families through Time Turners since 2024.

Ms. Klimko earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and her Bachelor of Social Work, with a minor in psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She since has since obtained her DBT Certification, ARC Grow Certification and is being trained as an EMDR Certified Therapist. To best support her clients, Ms. Klimko utilizes evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).

Ms. Klimko strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment in which clients feel safe, respected, and free from judgment. She brings empathy, understanding, warmth, and an appropriate use of humor to foster strong therapeutic relationships. Her goal is to support clients as they work towards their treatment goals and meaningful, lasting change.

Ms. Klimko is excited to be taking on clients for Time Turners Outpatient starting in January 2026, in addition to her IIC work with children and adolescents in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.
