About Time Turners
Turning back to the moments that shaped you
so you can move forward with strength.
OUR STORY
The Meaning Behind Time Turners
Inspired by the power of revisiting the past to create a new future.
At Time Turners Counseling & Consulting, our work is guided by a simple but powerful idea: healing begins when we can revisit the moments that shaped us and understand them in a new light.
The name “Time Turners” reflects our belief in the transformative potential of trauma-informed therapy—especially EMDR. While we can’t change the events of the past, we can help the brain process them differently. In EMDR, clients return to key moments, pause them, look around with compassion, and see what they couldn’t see the first time. This process helps rewrite the narrative so clients can step out of old roles of fear, powerlessness, or overwhelm—and into a story where they are supported, capable, and strong.
Time Turners was created to make this kind of work accessible to children, teens, adults, and families across New Jersey. Our clinicians lead with warmth, clarity, and genuine care, offering a safe space where clients can explore, heal, and move forward at their own pace.
OUR MISSION
At Time Turners Counseling & Consulting, our mission is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care that helps children, teens, and families process the past, understand the present, and move toward a healthier future.
